Vesak is marked as a day filled with peace and clarity. To reflect and rejoice during this season, both Buddhists and non-Buddhists students of Kandy International School respectfully devoted their time by making a meaningful visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

The year-end Pinnacle Awards Ceremony of the Interact Clubs and Rotaract Clubs was held at the auditorium of Hillwood College Kandy, marking a memorable conclusion to the year’s activities.

The Islamic Society of Kandy International School remarked the Mil Adun Nabi Day in a grand scale,
associated with an array of lined up
Programs such as the Quiz competition, Calligraphy, Essay Competitions Recitals , Speeches and Kiraath.
The winners were awarded with a valuable certificate .Especially the Recital of Mawlood created a harmonious atmosphere to the entire school community on that day.The special sweets and a cooked meal of
a rice pack was distributed to each and everyone thus following a great sunnah of the beloved Prophet (SAW) proving the great act of sharing in unity. Another memorable day in our school calendar with immense success.

The Annual Prefect Installation of Kandy International School was held on the 30th of June at the American College Auditorium.

Mr Ananda Marasinghe, the Vice Principal of Trinity College graced the occassion as the Chief Guest and Mr Stefan de Run a Mentor for students as the Guest of Honor.
The Chief Guest delivered a very inspiring and meaningful speech where the students added value and meaning to their leadership conferred upon them at this event.

The Poson Programme at Kandy International School was held on the 12th of June, marked with a graceful procession of a Mihindu perehera by the students, followed by an inspiring and meaningful sermon. Both Buddhist, non-Buddhist students and teachers with sanctity participated, reflecting the spirit of unity, diversity and cultural appreciation within the school community.

On June 5th, the students and staff of Kandy International School celebrated Environmental Day — a special occasion aimed at inspiring our children to care for and protect the environment.

We believe it is essential to educate young minds about the value of nature. Through meaningful activities, our students learned that even small actions can make a big difference for our planet.

To this end the children brought plants the Directress and the Principal planted them followed by the children cleaning the school environment and planting a variety of shrubs, trees and foliage.
